Class Descriptions

Note that all of our classes are accessible for all levels. However some do require time on hands/knees as well as moving from seated to standing. If these motions don’t work for you—no problem! Simply look to sign up for Guided Deep Relaxation, Yoga With a Chair, or Somatic Yoga as these will be appropriate for any range of motion.

Seated Meditation

The benefits are boundless. The obstacles are accountability and consistency. Join us every week day for 15 minutes of meditation. These simple practices are designed to build mindfulness muscles through breathwork, stillness, and contemplation. You don’t have to “clear your mind” (as if that were possible) - this is real-life meditation. It’s simple, friendly, and accessible. Mountaintop not required. Come as you are.

Gentle Rise

Join us as we prepare for the day ahead and wake up our bodies with grounding gentle movements, breathwork, or standing postures. This class welcomes whatever energy (or lack thereof!) that you are feeling, and will offer space for reflection and intention setting for the day ahead. This class is for all levels with options for everyone.

Gentle Rise + Energize

Join us as we prepare for the day ahead with grounded warm ups, breath work, and standing postures. Expect a mindful progression of techniques including physical postures guided by breath-synchronized movement, relaxation, and seated concentration. This class is open to all levels of experience with options for everyone.

Energizing Yoga

Join us for yoga practice designed to build strength and mobility, increase energy, and cultivate mental clarity. Options will be presented for all levels.

Gentle Yoga

Take time for yourself to pause and reset during this gentle yoga class. You will be guided through relaxing movements and slow breathing intended to calm and refresh both your body and mind. The instructor will often take requests before class begins. They will then create a sequence based on student needs that day. All levels welcome.

Mindful Flow

Mindful Flow aims to release the body from habitual movements and restore a full range of motion to create ease in the body and mind. The class links breath with movement in sequences to build stamina, focus, and strength while releasing long-held tension. While some postures may be challenging, modifications will always be provided.

Move + Meditate

Reset and balance the physical body and mind! This class will use postures to release tension and discomfort before easing into a 20 minute guided meditation. Expect gentle movement and meditative tools for mental clarity.

Guided Deep Relaxation

This class is designed for those looking to deeply relax and restore both body and mind. Students can expect a combination of gentle asana, pranayama and Yoga Nidra. Yoga Nidra weaves together elements of guided meditation, visualization, and breath exploration. All levels are welcome.

Yoga with a Chair

Yoga with a Chair offers both seated and standing poses that develop strength, balance, and mobility with awareness. Whether you have limited mobility, chronic pain, work at a desk all day, are new to yoga, or haven’t practiced in a while, this class shows how to incorporate yoga into a daily routine in practical but powerful ways. Gently stretch the body, breathe fully, and explore meditation techniques to reduce stress and create overall wellbeing.

Somatics

Somatics, developed by Thomas Hanna, is accessible to any level of practitioner. This gentle practice releases subconscious patterns of contraction in the body through small, focused, repetitive movements. By releasing this tension from the body, the breath, and the mind, a sense of ease and freedom may result. The instructor will often take requests before class begins. They will then create a sequence based on the students’ needs that day. All levels welcome.
