  • Room to Breathe Psychotherapy & Yoga (map)

Weekly on Wednesdays: 4:00-5:00pm CST, virtual (Zoom) ***group is at capacity, please reach out to join our waitlist

This is a virtual support group for adults (18+) who are navigating the death of a parent or parental figure and looking for a supportive space to process their grieving journey with others who are going through a similar experience. The goal of this group is to provide a safe, warm environment to reflect on and share personal experiences with grief; process the death of parental figures; and work towards finding meaning in and through these losses. The majority of our time together will be a blend of individual and group reflection focused on emotional processing. Our hope and intention in group is to build community and feel better in our minds and bodies in relation to our grief and loss experiences.

Some private insurance plans are accepted; out of pocket cost per session is $35, and limited sliding scale spots are available. We ask for at least an 8-session commitment, with the option to continue longer; open to anyone residing in Illinois.

Please reach out to Margy Brill, LSW at margy@roomtobreathechicago.com for more information about registration and next steps if you think this group may be a good fit for you or others.
