TRANSCRIPT:

“Hi friends, Sara Buxton here. I am the owner of Room to Breathe Psychotherapy & Yoga, where we offer therapy and psychologically sensitive yoga. Both together, separate, together sometimes, but always influencing each other. We used to be separate up until this fall, but we believe in the power of both so now we are one Room to Breathe. And our community has this wealth of information in the form of both their passion and the way in which they integrate therapy and yoga into their services working with clients and students and I want to share that with you all. So my intention of engaging more community this year - I will be connecting with folks individually, maybe in groups, to talk about what fuels their work in yoga and therapy and how they like to show up in that space, what it’s like as a client or a student, all of that fun stuff. So yeah. I want these conversations to be inclusive, I want everybody in our community to be able to engage with all of the fancy and beautiful minds and souls of our instructors and our therapists, and maybe even get a taste of how each healer works. I think a barrier to the entry of both yoga and therapy is this worry that we may not like the therapist or the yoga instructor of that particular class which is totally true, because you’re not gonna like everybody. And so perhaps these conversations can kind of offer a point of entry into Room to Breathe therapy or yoga with one of these folks that I get to have chats with. So, let’s see how this grows. Super organic. I am in my empty new office space. Maybe there will be furniture one day, stay tuned. But yeah. Let’s see how this grows!”
