A four week series on Wednesdays, November 30th - December 21st
Asana means to take a seat. Our yoga asana practice is meant to prepare us for a more comfortable body in seated meditation.
When we start to explore asana we start to open the doorway to our patterns, old injuries, asymmetries physically and mentally.
We are invited to cultivate discernment over self judgement. The use of props brings us so much into the present moment, we can’t help but be present as a result.
Props can be used to make postures more accessible, reveal patterns in our body, and they can make poses more challenging and fun! They ask us to go deeper and be more subtle. To refine our personal practice as our offering as teachers. When we refine our light it burns brighter.
In these sessions, you will explore using all the props in various ways to facilitate restoration, therapeutics, corrective to deep alignment.
As a yoga teacher one of the biggest gifts we can give to our students is meeting them where they are as well as mirroring back to them their innate potential. We learn from our students as much as they learn from us.
