Yoga + Journaling: Inviting Comfort {ONLINE}

Late fall and early winter is the natural time to invite comfort into our days, to quiet down, settle in and rest. But with so much to do, so many holiday demands and so few daylight hours, it can be hard to find time to lean into coziness.  This Yoga + Journaling workshop will focus on inviting comfort into our practice. Through gentle and restorative physical movement (asana), breathwork (pranayama) and deep relaxation (yoga nidra) along with journaling, we will hold space to cultivate coziness and nurture rest. Journaling in this practice can be whatever calls to you in the moment such as: writing in a notebook, drawing, coloring, knitting, sipping tea, working with a mantra or any of the limitless possibilities you imagine.

This practice grounded in nourishing our body, breath and heart-mind will allow us time to gather warmth and contentment. Put on your comfiest clothing, collect any props to create a restful supportive space (mat, blankets, pillows, bolsters, blocks), gather your items for journaling, brew up a delicious warm beverage in your favorite mug, light a candle and gather together for an evening of comfort, coziness and rest.
