Hi Human!

Room to Breathe is a group practice of therapists and yoga instructors who understand that your mental and physical health are interconnected.

Our therapists offer talk therapy for those interested in exploring and accessing their wellbeing and their personhood, difficulties and strengths through counseling sessions.

Our yoga instructors are psychologically-informed and offer trauma sensitive classes for people who are connecting with their bodies and wellbeing through the practices of yoga and meditation.

We’re here to support and address your goals holistically; that may be with therapy, yoga, or both.

It’s up to you. We’re glad you’re here.

  • Room to Breathe Psychotherapy and Yoga aims to create a radically affirming space where folks can connect with their inner wisdom, find belonging within a community of healing, and feel empowered to express their true self. Therapists and yoga practitioners are striving to form an integrative and collaborative culture to meet the healing needs of all individuals, couples, groups, and families. As a community, we center sustainable work/life balance, personal expression and growth, and professional development.

  • Our vision is to provide human centered mental health care and somatic practices for folks to find healing and explore their truest self. We have a positive impact on our community by decreasing the stigma related to seeking our mental health treatment and self care practices. We prioritize the health of our inner community of therapists and yoga practitioners. We are constantly searching for ways to provide innovative services that meet the needs of our clients and students. We are committed to elevating and centering voices, practices, and lived experiences beyond those typically centered and supported by our profession(s), that are often rooted in White Supremacy, including hetero-normative, capitalist, and colonist values.

  • We are committed to fostering a workplace that honors and values diversity amongst our staff and clients. We acknowledge that talk therapy has been influenced by White Supremacy; we actively work to decolonize therapy and practice inclusivity. We do this by taking direction from Black, brown, and Native communities, queer liberation, and disability justice movements who are deconstructing internalized systems of oppression. We seek feedback about policies and understand this work is continuous and critical to ethical practice.
